Partly cloudy, cold night forecast for Karachi in next 24 hours: Met Office
Karachi: The Meteorological Department said that Karachi will be partly cloudy and cold nights during the next 24 hours.
The city experienced its first winter rains on Tuesday night, after which the director of the Meteorological Department had said that Karachi would get more rainfall and this December would be colder than usual.
Light to heavy rains were recorded in various parts of the metropolis, including Gulzar-e-Hijri, Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Rashid Minhas Road, Gulshan-e-Jamal, Shahar-e-Faisal, Shah Faisal Includes Colony, Malir and Qaidabad.
Light rain was also seen in other areas including Surjani, Orangi, Baldia Town, New Karachi, Federal B Area, Najimabad, II Chundigar Road, MA Jinnah Road and Old City Area.
The weather director had said that the next rainy season would be in the first week of December.
The meteorological department said that by 8 am on Thursday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 15.5 degrees Celsius.
Northeast winds are blowing at 18 kilometers per hour, he said.
