Bobby Brown Jr. – Bobby Brown’s son died at age 28
Bobby Brown JR, son of singer Bobby Brown, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Bobby Christina Brown’s half-brother Brown Jr., who died in 2015, was 28 years old.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department received a call for a medical emergency at around 1.30pm Wednesday, spokesman Jeff Lee confirmed to CNN.
Brown Jr. was immediately pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is questionable, Lee said.
According to a statement by Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Brown Jr. “did not feel well a few days before his death” and had experienced flu-like symptoms.
“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time,” Brown said in a statement. “At this point in our lives, my family is devastated by losing my son. There are no words to explain the pain. “
This is not the first loss to the Brown family. Whitney Houston, who married Brown Sr., died accidentally in a bathtub on February 11, 2012. Heart disease and cocaine were subsequently named as contributing factors. Three years later, Houston and Brown’s daughter, Bobby Christina Brown, was remiss and was not breathing in the bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia. She was treated in hospital for about six months until her death in July 2015. The autopsy showed intoxication and excretion leading to pneumonia and brain damage that led to the death of a 22-year-old woman.
