Pakistani students bag students’ dream award in Beijing. The Express Tribune
Pakistani students showcased their talents and won awards in speech, photography, music, singing and sand painting competitions during the annual Third Silk Road and Young Dreams Awards ceremony held in Beijing, China.
Participants from more than 30 countries participated in the ceremony organized by the Silk Road Cities Alliance, China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development, Beijing Belt and Road Cooperative Community and Chongyang Institute for Renmin University’s Financial Studies.
The mission’s Deputy Head, Pakistan Embassy Beijing, Ahmed Farooq received the opportunity and distributed prizes among the winners.
Muhammad Ali Assad of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) served as the judge of the speech competition.
The contestants of Pakistan as usual won and won the hearts of the audience of this stage through their speeches, singing, music and art works. Students of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing (PECB) managed to secure certain positions in various categories.
In the speech competition, Danish Yakub of Pakistan won the first prize, while PECB student Abdul Rahman took the third place.
PECB student, Maz Ali Nadeem won the most popular award in photography competition, while Ariba Ali and Thembikile, PECB students, received the Excellence in Music and Speech Competition awards.
In addition, PECB students were included in the team, which read the health announcement on the platform of Silk Road and Young Dreams.
This year, amidst this epidemic – all competitions were held online in the wake of Kovid-19 with the theme of health.
Participants from all over the world participated enthusiastically in the annual competition and spread colors with their enlightened ideas and performances in all categories.
