Sindh today unveiled 1200 billion budget for the financial year 2020-21
Karachi – Sindh will present the budget for the next financial year with a total outlay of more than Rs 1,200 crore today (Wednesday).
According to media reports, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will submit the provincial budget proposals to the provincial assembly in Karachi, as he also holds the portfolio of the provincial finance minister.
The budget session of the provincial assembly will be virtual and it is expected that 75 percent of the members will attend the session through video link.
According to reports, Rs 5 billion will be allocated to counter novel coronoviruses while the development budget will include new schemes of Rs 34.7 billion.
Around 55 billion rupees will be allocated for foreign aided projects.
15 billion rupees will be allocated for district development program and Rs 12:17 billion for local bodies institutions.
