The Sindh Cabinet has set aside Rs. 224 trillion budget proposals approved
KARACHI – The Sindh Cabinet in a pre-budget cabinet meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence here on Wednesday, for the next fiscal year 2020-21, was Rs. 224 trillion budget proposals approved.
The cabinet meeting was chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Besides the provincial ministers, the meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary of Sindh, Chairman Planning and Development and Secretary.
Sindh Finance Secretary Hassan Naqvi briefed the meeting about the budget for the financial year 2020-21.
Murad Ali Shah while addressing the participants of the meeting said that the poor, farmers, youth, government employees and the private sector were provided relief in the next budget.
He said that despite difficulties, the budget was allocated for development projects.
He said, we have tried to present a balanced budget saying that we will not leave people alone.
