Budget 2020 – Heritage Division gets Rs 194.7 million
Islamabad – Public Sector Development Program (PSDP): National History and Literary Heritage Division has received Rs 194.740 million for the upgradation and digitization of various cultural departments working for adequate projection of arts and culture in the country under 2020-21 . .
According to the budget document, the federal government has allocated 184.740 million for the ongoing schemes and Rs 10 million for the new schemes of the division.
Amid the ongoing plans, Rs. 24 million for the construction of auditorium in Pakistan Academy’s letter (PAL) in Islamabad, office building, conference hall, guest house, committee room and library in PAL Provincial Office Peshawar for Rs. 30 million rupees for digitization of rare books and a collection of manuscripts from the National Library of Pakistan, Islamabad.
