Police Inspector dies in Sindh
Hyderabad – A police inspector of the Hyderabad Range succumbed late Sunday night in front of COVID-19 at the ICU of the Civil Hospital.
Inspector Rao Shafiq was admitted to an isolation ward of Liaquat University (LU) Hospital after his coronovirus test returned positive.
Hospital sources said that after the condition worsened, he was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
According to doctors, Rao Schafik was a COVID-19 patient who could not survive. He was also a heart patient, he added.
Of the 15 police officers found to be COVID-19 positive in the Hyderabad range, seven have been recovered so far and 7 are still under treatment, while one was killed.
