Chila Ram – Head of Minorities Commission of Pakistan tested positive for COVID-19
ISLAMABAD – National Minorities Commission Chairman Chila Ram Kevalani has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Ram said that he experienced mild symptoms of the virus after which he decided to get himself tested for COVID-19. Ever since the test came positive, Ram went into self-isolation.

Ram last week met Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and various delegations in Peshawar and Islamabad.
Yesterday, PML-N spokesman Mariam Aurangzeb joined a long list of MPs who have tested positive for the virus, including Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Minister of State for Narcotics Shehar Afridi and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
Other politicians include PTI MNA Jai Prakash, PPP MPA Sharjeel Memon, PML-N MPA Mian Naved Ali, PTI Chief Whip Aamir Dogar in the National Assembly.
Shaheen Raza, a member of the PTI Punjab Provincial Assembly (MPA), was the country’s first legalist to succumb to the virus.
