Smart lockdown in Islamabad areas amid violation of COVID-19 protocol
ISLAMABAD – A smart lockdown was imposed in G-9/2 and G-9/3 and Markaz Karachi Company areas of Islamabad on Saturday.
According to state media, measures taken at G-9/2 and G-9/3 and Markaz Karachi Company are designed to prevent the spread of disease and to take precautions in other high prevalence areas.
During the last 24 hours, more than 13116 health guidelines / instructions were violated throughout Pakistan.
Radio Pakistan reported that more than 1541 markets / shops, 33 industries and 1429 transports were “forewarned / fined / sensitized / sealed / sealed”.
In Islamabad Capital Territory, 44 hotels, 120 shops and 7 industrial units were closed on 255 SOP violations.
Based on the TTQ strategy, federal and provincial authorities are ensuring compliance with health guidelines / directives, particularly at working locations, industrial zones / transport / markets, and stores. A total of 1292 smart lockdowns are being implemented, with 308600 population across the country being in those smart lockdowns.
Special teams are working across the country to ensure the implementation of health guidelines / directives and preventive measures to ensure that SOPs are being implemented.
