Jai Prakash – Another PTI Lawyer tests positive for COVID-19
Islamabad – On Monday, a sitting MNA of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was tested positive for coronavirus, according to local media.
Jai Prakash conducted his test on Friday after which he attended a session of the National Assembly. The MNA reportedly hosted an event in the evening which also included Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and MNA Lal Chand – both of whom conducted their tests.
Earlier today, Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Tested positive for coronavirus.
On Sunday, PPP MPA Sharjeel Memon He announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus and had gone into self-isolation.
Earlier, Minister of State for Narcotics Shehirr Afridi tested positive for the virus. PTI chief whip Aamir Dogar in the National Assembly also tested positive for coronavirus.
Shaheen Raza, a member of the PTI Punjab Provincial Assembly (MPA), was the country’s first legalist to succumb to the virus.
Two other MLAs – PTI MPA Mian Jamsheduddin Kakakhel from Nowshera; And PML-N MPA Shaukat Manzoor Cheema from Gujranwala – died of the disease earlier this month.
